Croatia is known for its calm winds and seas during the summer (usually!). With over 1,200 islands, it makes for an abundance of opportunities for your sailing itinerary.
Spend your mornings sipping coffee in a secluded bay before heading to a swim spot. Then hoist the sails and make your way to a small village with cobblestone streets and picturesque views. Explore the town before dining at a family-run restaurant, sampling the incredible seafood before turning in after another great day.
The peak sailing season in Croatia is from June through September, while the months before and after can be a little quieter. Average temperatures can be expected between 72–86°F (22–30°C), and sea temperatures average 72–85°F (22–29°C).

DALMATIAN ISLANDS ITINERARY
Sailing in Croatia isn’t about sticking to a strict schedule - it’s about chasing the wind, discovering hidden coves, and embracing the unexpected. This itinerary is all about adventure, where each day unfolds based on the weather and the magic of the Dalmatian islands.
SPLIT
A historic gateway to the Adriatic. Our journey begins near Split, the vibrant heart of the Dalmatian coast. You can explore Diocletian's Palace, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, or take in panoramic views from Marjan Hill. As the sun sets, the Riva waterfront comes alive with lively bars and restaurants, setting the tone for the adventure ahead.
BRAČ
Brač is home to iconic landscapes, including Zlatni Rat, a golden-hued beach that shifts shape with the tides. You might find even find the lucky stone hidden among its pebbles. A hike to Pustinja Blaca reveals an ancient cliffside monastery, while a seaside konoba serves up local wine and specialties.
HVAR & PAKLENI ISLANDS
A blend of glamour & seclusion. The Pakleni Islands, just off Hvar’s coast, are a sailor’s dream with turquoise lagoons and hidden coves. In Hvar Town, Venetian architecture and buzzing bars create an unforgettable atmosphere. For a quieter escape, we can sail to Sveta Nedilja to visit an underwater winery and sip bold Plavac Mali wines.
VIS
A time capsule of history & natural wonders. Once a military island, Vis remains one of the Adriatic’s most untouched gems. You can explore the Blue and Green Caves, swim in Stiniva Bay, or take a military tour of Vis’ bunkers and tunnels. Renting scooters offers a scenic way to discover vineyards, olive groves, and coastal beauty.
KORČULA
Medieval charm & wild nature. Korčula, known as “Little Dubrovnik,” blends history and natural beauty. You might explore its Old Town or visit Badija, where friendly deer roam ancient monastery ruins. The warm glow of sunset over Korčula’s skyline makes for a perfect evening backdrop.
LASTOVO (weather permitting)
The edge of the Adriatic. If the weather allows, you’ll sail to Lastovo, Croatia’s most remote inhabited island. Known for its dark skies and wild landscapes, it feels like the edge of the world. A quiet dinner at a family-run konoba, with freshly grilled fish and local wines, is the perfect way to take it all in.
Endless possibilities, unforgettable memories - no two sailing trips are the same. Whether it’s an impromptu beach stop, a night under the stars, or a detour to chase the best winds, this journey is about freedom. By the time you return to your base marina, you’ll have new friendships, incredible stories, and a longing to set sail again.
This itinerary is weather dependant and may change slightly.
